Our vision for renovating the two inner courtyard gardens began in 2023 when our charity was formed. With huge financial pressures on the SE Trust it was agreed that a colaboration of input from our charity, corporate volunteer partners was needed to see this project get underway. Our vision is for the 2 gardens within the SE Trust run premises be opened during extended hours for greater use by adults with a severe learning disability within our community. We also wish to support the families and carers who are 24 hour carers for their loved ones. Once completed these secure social and recreational spaces will be inclusive and accessible and have low/no maintenance. We have already contributed £40k of our charities fundraising and grant money to get one courtyard renovation underway but estimated costs to complete both courtyard gardens will need investment of £100k. Any gift no matter how small will be of huge benefit to our cause.
