After daily use since 2014 the easy clean chair in the Sensory Room has been repaired so many times over the years it is finally beyond repair and a new one is desperately required.

The Sensory Room offers a calm environment for adults with learning disabilities and empowers them through the ability to choose their own environment.

Whether it's creating a seaside atmosphere with the sounds of seagulls calling, the sea waves rolling, images of the beach and pier with mood lighting or burning some energy in a disco experience with glitter ball and lights or even a car chase. The choice is always theirs.

The Sensory Room only exists because of donations and legacies thanks to the generosity of the public.

Can you help to continue this life-enhancing facility?

A settee to replace the chair will allow more room to the individual giving them additional space for swaying, dancing and other movements. The Sensory Room can also be used for a cinematic experience so this settee will ensure the opportunity to invite a friend to join them.
