We are currently helping to support the resettlement of 4 vulnerable refugee families in our area. We provide local practical support to refugee families in our area, including welcoming, help with learning English, finding jobs, providing lifts, sourcing necessary household items, and making small grants.

Previous grants have included living costs incurred whilst in hospital, Eid and Christmas gifts, clothing, necessary equipment for the houses, bikes, books and travel for English lessons, laptops, professional tutoring, professional qualification exam fees, driving lessons, swimming, football courses and social outings.

We are confidently expecting the arrival of 2 more families in the next few months, and we need to increase the resources we have available to help support all 6 families.
