As a committed team of volunteers from Brighton Peace & Environment Centre (BPEC) and Sew Fabulous, we're dedicated to making a positive impact on our community and the planet. Now, with the inaugural Sustainable Fashion Week just around the corner, we're excited to take our mission to the next level. But we can't do it without your support!

What's the Buzz?

Sustainable Fashion Week isn't just about clothing; it's about redefining our relationship with fashion. This event, as a hub of the national Sustainable Fashion Week campaign, will be a dynamic showcase of Brighton's iconic style with a sustainable twist.

Brighton's vibrant spirit, creativity, and unique style deserve a spotlight that's both fabulous and eco-friendly. The question we ask is, how could our city not have a Sustainable Fashion Week? Let's come together to celebrate our community's passion for fashion while making choices that resonate with our values.

How You Can Help

We're reaching out to our amazing community to ask for your support. By contributing to our fundraising campaign, you're helping us make this event a reality. Your donation will go towards organizing workshops and engaging activities, setting up an unforgettable experience that'll inspire everyone who attends.

Every Bit Counts

Whether it's a small contribution or a more substantial one, every bit helps us reach our goal. Here's how your support can make a difference:

£5 could pay for a volunteer to get the bus to the event

£10 could pay for materials to help fix a well-worn jacket and keep it out of the trash

£120 could pay for the rental of our sewing machines for our workshops for the day or go towards helping us cover the cost of the venue.

Any amount is appreciated, and each pound contributes to creating a more sustainable and vibrant future for fashion in our community.

Join the Movement

By donating to our Sustainable Fashion Week campaign, you're becoming part of a movement that's advocating for change. You're standing up for sustainable practices, for community, and for fashion that aligns with our values.

2023 Community Programme

But wait, there's more! The nationwide Community Programme takes place between September 25th and October 8th. This is an open invitation to individuals and organizations from all backgrounds to join in. We encourage you to host an activity that connects with your networks, audience, or friends, and share how we can collectively take action for a cleaner, greener, and fairer fashion industry.

Although the programme has gone to print, we can still feature your activity on our Community Programme and showcase it on our website and social media.
