Premises Campaign:

Our Slough School has entered into a 20 year lease for Cippenham Lodge and The Coach House and is undertaking essential refurbishment to meet planning regulations.

So Far we have secured funds for:

Phase 1: Security and Fencing - circa £65,000

Installed security cameras: CCTV

A new intruder alarm system

A full-time security guard and portacabin for security

Perimeter and playground fencing

Phase 2: The Coach House Refurbishment - £20,100 raised so far.

Funds Needed: we still need to raise: £11,300 by the end of November 2024

Full refurbishment of the Coach House: painting, plastering, redecorating all internal areas

Remodeling the ground and first floors, removal of the partitioning wall

Children’s toilet areas

Custom-made replacement windows to ensure we keep the heritage character of the building

Phase 3 - Damp Proof Installation: £24,780 required by the end of December 2024

During Phase 1, we discovered that Damp Proof insulation is missing, which has caused moisture and dampness to affect the floor as well as the surrounding walls. This is an additional cost that was not budgeted for.

Our Early Years children are unable to move into the building until this has been treated and fixed.

Phase 4: Early Years Playground - £35,000

Remove contaminated soil and trees

Build a patio area to prevent further dampness

Replace the soil and create a safe play surface

Install play equipment

Phase 4: Cippenham Lodge: Mini Masjid Area - TBC

Help us create a dedicated salah/namaz area for our children to pray in jam’aah.

According to Bukhari and Muslim, the reward for praying in congregation is 27 times more than a prayer offered alone. One of the reasons for this is Islam’s great emphasis on community, brotherhood and unity. The virtues of praying in congregation are highly regarded in Islam and our Beloved Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), said,

“Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning and evening, Allah will prepare for him a place in Paradise for every morning and evening.” [Bukhari and Muslim]. Please help us to instill this virtue in our future generations that will be of benefit to them and of course a source of Sadqah Jariah for yourself for years to come in sha ALLAH.

Alhamdulillah, for this particular project, we already have someone that has pledged to cover the cost of the labour costs for the Mini Masjid area. However, we still require your generous support for the purposes of the actual building of this prayer area Inshallah.
