Thanks for supporting Cavendish Cancer Care's Sheffield Half Marathon Challenge. Cavendish is a local independent charity that supports cancer patients and their families and last year we supported more than 1900 local families both in our Wilkinson street base the Tim Pryor Centre and directly on the wards at both Weston Park Hospital and at the Palliative Care unit at Northern General Hospital. Every one of those people were able to pick up the phone and get an appointment within 5 working days enabling them to access a free of charge package of care and support centred around  their needs.  We receive just enough statutory funding to keep our doors open for about two weeks each year put simply we wouldnt be here without the support of the local community and people like you doing challenges for us and donating to those that do.
