Shelf Juniors Football Club was established in 1988 to provide a home for local children to be involved in organised Junior Football. Since this start date the club has established itself within the local community with over 200 children (ranging from 4 year olds through to 18 year olds). To further compliment this from 2016, the club started to operate teams for Under 21s and Open Age with the primary objective to retain our developed players in the game of football. Throughout its lifetime the football club has never had a permanent home and over the coming years we would like to address by working alongside the Football Foundation to develop a space of waste ground in Shelf.
