Sheppey Sea Cadet Headquarters currently consist of a mixture of 1880, 1920 and 1954 naval buildings that have been continuously adapted over several years to keep up with growing demand.

Of late, the worn out facilities have suffered from severe damp and leakages caused by crumbling foundations and poorly insulated structures.

The headquarters are inaccessible to all user groups, are not environmentally friendly nor sustainable for future use.

We have engaged with BDG architecture + design to design a multi purpose facility using modern renewable technology, providing local and regional facilities for the Sea Cadets and other community groups.
