In memory of our former Chairman Ian Robinson who sadly passed away in April 2023 we will each year in conjunction with Ian’s family, chose a charity which the Sharks will support annually through fundraising, whilst at the same time raising awareness. This year we will be supporting Vasculitis UK a disease from which Ian suffered in the 12 months before he died.

Vasculitis affects only some 2-3000 people each year in the UK – doctors remain unsure of how a particular strain develops or evolves in our bodies and the medical profession continues to learn and develop new ways of treating a disease that affects so few.

Ian as a club chairman, we could not have wished for anything more – he represented our club and our village so so well, everyone loved Ian he never had a bad word to say about anyone he will be sadly missed but never forgotten.- his legacy will live long in our hearts.
