Our supporters will be stepping out in style on May 10 – and as they wander the magical, enchanted paths of Apley Woods, close to our Telford hospice, they will remember those we have supported and cared for.

Shimmer Walk 2025 is an event for all the family as they take to the 5k route – starting and finishing at Charlton School and along the way there will be bubbles, foam and laughter as well as the chance to remember and reminisce.

Your generous sponsorship will enable us to care for so many local people facing heartbreak and help us to continue to provide specialist care and support free of charge to families across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who are living with an incurable illness.

Did you know that £23 provides a family with an hour’s care from a Hospice at Home healthcare assistant? And that for every £1 donated to the hospice last year, 84p was spent directly on care. The remaining 16p was used to raise another £1.
