SHINE (registered charity no: 1165788) makes a huge difference to patients across the North East and Cumbria receiving care in CNTW’s mental health, learning disability and neurological care services.
Spending time in hospital or in community services can often be a daunting experience; SHINE aims to improve patient and carer experience and wellbeing by funding therapeutic activities and items of comfort which compliment patient care. It is thanks to the generosity of donors that SHINE is able to fund these ‘extras’ that make such a difference to patients.
To celebrate the start of spring and welcome in brighter and warmer days, SHINE is inviting everyone to wear something yellow on 20 March and donate £2 to help us support more patients across the region. This can be anything from a yellow hat, socks, a hair clip or something more bold such as a yellow jumper or trousers! By taking part, you will have a chance to win some wonderful prizes kindly donated to us by local businesses! Every £2 donated is one entry into the raffle. For more entries, please donate in multiples of £2 - for example a £10 donation is 5 entries.
• Cowell’s Garden Centre voucher (2 x £10 voucher)
• Northumberland Zoo Family pass
• Zenote Handmade voucher (£20 voucher)
• Cake Stories gift voucher (2 x cake and a drink voucher)
Entries must be made by 23.59 on 20 March 2024. Prizes will be drawn on 22 March. The winners will be notified via email, please check your inbox (including your junk) on the day to see if you've won.
We’d love to see how you choose to take part so please share photos on social media and use the tag #ShineforSHINE so we can see your posts!
Gift Aid is not available for raffles, so please select ‘Continue without Gift Aid’ on the Gift Aid Declaration screen.
Please complete your contact details when making your donation and select ‘Yes’ when asked if you’re happy to be contacted by the charity. We need these details so that we can contact you if you are a winner.
If you would like to donate anonymously but still be entered into the raffle, please send a screenshot of your donation to marketing@cntw.nhs.uk
If your donation includes Gift Aid or doesn’t include your contact details, you won’t be entered into the prize draws.
JustGiving minimum donation is £2. When donating, JustGiving asks for a ‘tip’ to help cover the fees of using the platform, however you can choose not to by selecting ‘Enter custom amount’ and changing the amount to zero.
