Is it groundhog day.....? No, but we do seem to be repeating ourselves a lot lately.

Yet again, our Hillsborough Charity Shop has been broken into!

Window and door smashed, shop wrecked, items looted.... we just can't explain or understand the reasoning behind robbing from anyone, much less a charity.

As our supporters know, we are a very small, independent, local charity. We have one small shelter and two small charity shops to help fund the cats in our care.

This is really going to set our little rescue back, again.

We are looking into preventative measures with shutters at the top of the wish list. Once we have some quotes in we will update a target to getting the Shops defenses up to scratch.

It is sad that we need this kind protection, but our staff deserve to feel safe in their workplace and we simply cannot afford to keep having to manage these kinds of repairs, not to mention the loss of the donated stock which isn't so easily replaced.
