Story

Seton Hall Preps football team has a once in a lifetime opportunity to play a game in Ireland. In August, the team will be travel across the pond to not only play its first game of the season, but the first international football game in The Preps storied history!

As much as this trip is an exciting opportunity, it is also a significant investment. That is why the team has committed to raising funds through a Pirates in Ireland Lift-a-Thon. The teams fundraising goal to help offset the cost of the trip is $100,000 and each player is challenging himself to make sure we hit our target. On 4/1/23 each player will participate in the Lift-a-Thon when they will compete in the gym for personal bests in weightlifting and conditioning.

Athletes are asking for a pledge of 50-cents per pound of lifted weight. That is just $1.00 for every 2 pounds lifted.

The SHP Football team competes at the highest level in one of the toughest conferences in the nation. Now we get to showcase our talent internationally.

Please help our team by donating to the Pirates in Ireland Lift-a-thon.
