Anthropologist, sculptor, architect, creator, and lecturer Oscar Lloveras is a worl-renowed artist and a deeply spiritual being with a truly international résumé.

His enormous artworks, inspired by local environments and always making use of indigenous materials, have touched the hearts of viewers in Europe, the British Isles, the US, Asia and beyond.

They are often laboriously made of handmade Japanese paper that Lloveras manufacturers himself, and stains using natural dyes and pigments extracted from the earth where the installation is placed, as well as monumental sculptures on stone and glass, and different materials.

Oscar has been a Shumei member for over 20 years.

Oscar is based in France and Japan.
