Siemens Gamesa-Hull Blade Factory supports NICUs WISHH

At Siemens Gamesa we're supporting Hulls Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is one of the few level 3 centres in the country supporting critically ill newborns, and babies born before 32 weeks gestation.

WISHH stands for Working Independently to Support Hull Hospitals. We fundraise to complement and enrich the services and facilities at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospitals, over and above what can be achieved by the NHS alone, for the benefit and comfort of patients and their loved ones.

Story

At Siemens-Gamesa, we are going to help raise money towards creating a brand new sensory room for NICU. It has been a long-term ambition for the NICU to create such a facility for the benefit babies stimulation. The sensory room will not only aid in the neuro and physical development of babies in NICU care, it will also allow parents time to bond and create a feeling of normality in a critical time. It would be great if we could help the ward achieve this!
