Our next event:
The Big Half is a vibrant, inclusive half marathon with an unmissable festival atmosphere. The route includes a stunning 13.1-mile course set off by Tower Bridge in central London and finishes at the famous Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
The newly formed SIG Run Club is a place for staff, residents, and participants to share their journey to improved wellbeing. The group is made up of a mix of running abilities. Whether our members have never run before or are experienced marathon runners, it is a place where we can support each other to become more active and healthy.
As a group, we want to use our fitness journey to undertake challenges and raise much-needed funds for charity.
All funds raised through each of SIG Club's fundraising activities go towards projects across SIG services, like Welfare Packs, journals for women in custody, wellbeing activities, and much more.
Social Interest Group (SIG) comprises subsidiary charities, Equinox Care, Safe Ground, Penrose Options, SIG Housing Trust, and Pathways to Independence. Established to change how charities operate and ensure their long-term sustainability, SIG provides all back-office functions reducing the cost to each charity, allowing them to use more of their funds to deliver their community services.
As a group, we are specialists in health and social care. We offer technical, therapeutic, and practical support working with people who face multiple disadvantages, including individuals who have experienced homelessness, trauma, mental ill health, substance or alcohol use, and the Criminal Justice System. We work across London, Bedfordshire, East Sussex, Kent & Essex, and nationally in various settings, including prisons.
