Story
This Christmas, we’re putting a spotlight on the resilience and courage it takes to find those silver linings when you live with a health condition like sarcoidosis.
And we’re taking a moment to thank those who make those silver linings possible for someone else.
You can make a donation to our Silver Linings Campaign sharing your silver lining that you're grateful for OR you can take on a Silver Linings challenge of your own inspired by the list below to help support SarcoidosisUK.
The Silver Linings Challenge is now open and will close on the 21st of December 2026. You can pick and choose from:

the SarcoidosisUK Silver Linings Challenge!
Q. Can I do this on my own / with a friend or group?
A. Whatever you prefer - you can set the challenge for yourself to do or share the challenge with your friends and family and work together to reach an overall target (which is completely yours to set to whatever goal works best for you).
Maybe you decide to take on a weekly stretch / yoga class? Maybe you do a daily sketch / sonnet and post it to a groupchat for the challenge? Maybe you have a party and each dress up and dance for your own 'Shimmer for Silver linings' night? Its yours to make your own and set to what is best and safest for you to have fun with.
Q. I would like to do a challenge - what is the timeline?
A. The Silver Linings Challenge is now open, so you can start whenever you like and you have until the 21st of December, 2026 to complete it.
Q. I don't want to do a challenge, but I do want to support the Silver Linings campaign. What can I do?
A. You don't have to do a challenge to take part, you can help support this campaign in many ways: you can make a donation if you'd like to on the Silver Linings Just Giving page, you can share the post & tag SarcoidosisUK to spread awareness and add your own Silver Lining to the caption / comment.
As a small charity, any donations or support in spreading awareness is a huge help, and we really appreciate it, so thank you for helping us to make a difference.
