We have been fundraising for many years for an indoor arena which will be a multifunctioning indoor space for the Shetland Community. We continue to fundraise throughout the year and we hope to see you are our annual Simmer Dim ride.

Here are a few joining instructions but if you need further information please do not hesitate to contact the SIA Facebook page.

After previous successful years, we intend to hold it at Spiggie, leaving from the Boddam Football Pitch and also the option to do a virtual ride if you can't make it.

We will be looking for volunteers to help with marshalling the route with everyone meeting for homebakes and refreshments at the Spiggie Beach.

We have 2 great ways to enter:

1. Do your own ride at the location of your choice and send in a photo to Shetland Indoor Arena for a chance to win Best Simmer Dim Virtual Ride Photo.

It's £20 to enter and you will receive a beautiful Simmer Dim Ride rosette for taking part. Enter anytime up until the 31st July 2025.

OR

2. Come and join us on the evening ride around Spiggie on 21st June 2025, wearing fancy dress if you wish. We intend to set off at about 7pm. If we have enough interest we will schedule another ride to set off at 8.30pm.

It's £20 to enter and you will receive a beautiful Simmer Dim Ride rosette for taking part.
