Story

Mr Loh and his fellow alumni have already donated over half the funds required to establish this fund. With your help, we hope to raise a total of $100,000 to make this a long-lasting endowment, benefiting students in perpetuity.

“The main purpose of this fund is to help Singaporean students at UQ, who unexpectedly face financial difficulties, (e.g. some of their parents could be out of work or their businesses not doing wel)l.”

Mr Loh describes this fund as “a token of my appreciation to UQ, for the valuable education I received, which has helped me greatly in my career advancement.”

Jaskirat Singh was the most recent recipient, and he shares the impact it had on him:

“I am thankful for being awarded this prize and appreciate all that have made this prize possible. Being awarded this prize encourages me to continue to work hard.”

You can make a huge difference to students facing financial difficulties, allowing them to focus on their studies at UQ.
