On 17th May 2025 I will be taking on a new challenge: running and walking 10k in beautiful Brathay, Cumbria a month after I turn 90.

The Unicorn School transforms lives. They work with each student, providing a bespoke education that meets each child's individual needs, empowering them to reach their potential.

Many of the students before coming to the school were disengaged, believed they couldn't achieve and had a tough time in mainstream education. But when they arrive at The Unicorn School and receive support and respect by teachers who believe in them, they begin to see their potential and what is possible.
