Story
Swale Community Care Project is a start-up Charity (registration No. 1203458) supporting the local community of Swale in Kent working with the local authority and local organisations to support the areas & services currently missed by existing organisations or processes. This includes the most vulnerable and isolated in the community.
Our team has over 5 years of local charitable experience in supporting local organisations and working within the community. We have built up a good relationship with local organisations and businesses and believe that by working with others and focusing on gaps in current support that as a collective we can improve the wellbeing within the Swale area.
We believe that if people are donating their hard earnt money to support those in the community that you should have the chance to chose what projects it is spent on and get updates on progress. So we have setup separate Just Giving Campaigns for each of our projects to help you have that choice.
Our latest joint project with Sittingbourne & Sheppey Helping Ukraine is Heather House Community Cafe in Sittingbourne. Part of a collaboration with other like minded charities with the aim of enabling us to support local families and residents with a warm and friendly cafe space with affordable meals with free children’s meals, pay it forward scheme along with a free community fridge and low cost community freezer.
We are realistic, premises cost money and people need support now; so this page enables others that share our aims to help support these services.
All donations can contribute giftaid as we are registered with HMRC and Just Giving will ensure this bonus contribution also gets to us.
If you want to see where your money is being spent please take a look at our facebook page, or join the group
