Labour Behind the Label believes that no-one should live in poverty for the price of a cheap t-shirt. That a living wage is a basic human right, as is working without fear for your life. We are committed to making these ideals a reality in the garment industry.

Story

Join the Six Items Challenge This April! Could you go on a fashion fast for a month?

Fast fashion drives a relentless cycle of overproduction, overconsumption, and waste—all to drive profits but at the expense of garment workers' rights and wellbeing. It’s time to challenge that system and stand up for change.

The Six Items Challenge is a month-long fashion fast designed to raise vital funds for Labour Behind the Label’s fight for garment workers’ rights.

How Does It Work? It’s simple:

Choose six main clothing items from your wardrobe and commit to wearing only those for the entire month of April. Essentials like underwear, accessories, and footwear are unlimited. Gym gear and work uniforms are allowed too! The challenge is about limiting your everyday clothing to make a statement against fast fashion.

Why Take Part?

By raising awareness and funds, you’ll support our mission to fight for the rights and dignity of garment workers worldwide. Make a stand for fashion justice. Sign up today and join us for April’s Six Items Challenge!
