Carers' Resource provides emotional and practical support for unpaid carers of all ages, across Craven, Harrogate, Bradford and Selby districts. A carer is anyone who looks after unpaid a family member, friend or neighbour who, due to disability, physical or mental health condition, illness, frailty, or addiction, cannot cope without their support.

Unpaid carers do an amazing and often unseen job looking after their loved ones, and they need support to cope with the challenges that come with caring.

As the charity has grown and developed, we have taken on other services, too. For example, we help people after they return home from hospital, and provide assistance in peoples own homes through our dedicated Care@ service.
