Closes 13/06/2025
Kirsty Lloyd has set herself a brave challenge for 2025 - a skydive. She will be doing a 15,000ft skydive with a 60 seconds freefall, to raise vital funds for the Battens Charitable Trust.
Kirsty says: “I wouldn't call myself an adrenaline junkie however I am definitely a thrill seeker. Skydiving has been one thing that I've always wanted to do and the fact that I can do this alongside my co-workers raising money for the Battens Charitable Trust - it's an offer I couldn't refuse.
To my family and friends - how much does my life really mean to you?”
The Battens Charitable Trust was set up in 1985 to enable grants to be made to registered charities and for charitable purposes in Somerset, Dorset and adjoining counties. In the last decade alone, the trust has donated approximately £537,000 and counting. Beneficiaries have been as diverse as local schools, youth organisations, hospitals and hospices, local foodbanks, wildlife organisations, disability groups and the arts. As Charitable Trust celebrates it’s 40th anniversary in 2025, it is more determined than ever to continue its legacy of giving back.
Your support means the world to us. Every penny donated will directly contribute to transforming lives and uplifting our local communities. Whether big or small, your generosity fuels this mission of hope and compassion.
Join us in soaring towards a brighter future. Together, we can celebrate the Battens Charitable Trust’s milestone anniversary by making a difference — one skydive, one donation, one life at a time.
