Megan Rawlings has set herself a brave challenge for 2025 - a skydive. She will be doing a 15,000ft skydive with a 60 seconds freefall, to raise vital funds for the Battens Charitable Trust.

Megan says: “When the opportunity arose to jump out of a plane, I figured this would be an exciting challenge to take on in 2025. I thought what better way to do this than alongside my colleagues while raising money for Charity? If you are able to please consider donating, and in return I will muster up the courage to throw myself out of a plane 😊”

The Battens Charitable Trust was set up in 1985 to enable grants to be made to registered charities and for charitable purposes in Somerset, Dorset and adjoining counties. In the last decade alone, the trust has donated approximately £537,000 and counting. Beneficiaries have been as diverse as local schools, youth organisations, hospitals and hospices, local foodbanks, wildlife organisations, disability groups and the arts. As Charitable Trust celebrates it’s 40th anniversary in 2025, it is more determined than ever to continue its legacy of giving back.
