Story

Cantraybridge is a further education college for young adults with additional support needs. Every student has their own learning opportunities and support plans to help meet their goals and ambitions. We offer both day student places and residential places and provide a variety of learning experiences across the college.

Last Year Cantraybridge College became Sainsburys charity of the year and it has been great year so far! As we come to the end of our term working with them, to top it off we are organising a tandem SKYDIVE with skydive Strathallan on 30th June 2019 to raise money to fund some black nose Valais sheep.

These sheep will be a fantastic benefit for our students in the farming and animal department. At present we have goats and one type of sheep which we breed and shear yearly. Valais sheep which were recently highlighted on the tv program Country File, are a specific breed of sheep from Switzerland. Their nature is docile and easily could become pets, this makes working with them easier for our students to learn and gain their rural skills qualification. At Cantraybridge we are always looking to widen and expand our students experiences and help them gain further knowledge.

Please support our skydive jumpers and donating to this worthy cause.
