Story
Raise vital funds for Crawley Open House and their work amongst the homeless and vulnerable locally by sleeping out at home for one night this November.
For obvious reasons we cant arrange our usual big fundraising sleepout this year. But for one night, Friday 20th November, we are encouraging you to give up the comfort of your bed and sleep out in your garden, shed, garage, kitchen, office or on the kids trampoline. It wont be anything like the reality of being homeless of course, but it will maybe give a glimpse of the discomfort, cold and lack of sleep which is the nightly reality for too many people.
We hope you may decide to do it with friends, work colleagues or family, bearing in mind all prevailing COVID-19 rules and guidelines, and get sponsored for taking part. All money raised will go to Crawley Open House, an independent local charity who for over 25 years have offered accommodation and support to those who find themselves homeless. With your help we are hoping to raise £10,000 towards our vital work, at a time when many of our usual donations are not coming in as they used to before the pandemic.
