Story
This year many fundraising events have been cancelled and postponed. ERUK supporters are a dedicated bunch and have been setting up their own fundraisers to ensure they can still raise vital funds for epilepsy research.
The team at the University of Newcastle and the Royal Victoria Infirmary have organised the Slight North Run on September 20th they'll be running for research. Friends, family and colleagues will be joining them to run as many miles as they can and they've challenged other institutions to join them and see who can run the furthest and run the most.
Every week 600 people are given the life-changing news that they have epilepsy. You can support vital research to achieve a life free from epilepsy by taking part in the Slight North Run.
Set up your fundraising page with the details of your run. Remember to personalise your page with a photo and some information on what you're doing and why.
Whether you can run a mile, or go the whole 13.1 mile distance, get your trainers on and run for research. You'll be funding life-changing, life-saving research into epilepsy.
