St Michael’s Hospice is heavily dependent on the generosity of local individuals, companies, groups and trusts. Did you know it costs around £8.7 million per year to provide our Hospice services? Please support our vital work.

Story

Moonlight Walk is back for 2025 - a 7km seafront walk, which celebrates life and gives us space to remember.

Light up the night and join us for a magical 7km evening walk along the beautiful Hastings and St Leonards seafront, up to the Hospice and back again, to celebrate life and loved ones - all while supporting St Michael’s Hospice (Hastings and Rother).

This year’s event has had a bit of a glow up! Alongside the glow sticks, fairy lights, and glowing lanterns, there will be live entertainment and illuminations to enjoy along the route. Plus, we’ll be hosting an event village at The Stade, with food stalls and other refreshments.

Everyone’s welcome — bring your friends, family, and even your well-behaved dogs!

This year, we’re aiming to raise £25,000 to help provide compassionate care and support to local people when they need it most.

In the year 2023-24, your support enabled us to provide:

• Care to 1,581 patients at home and on the In-Patient Unit.

• Over 26,000 calls to patients and carers at home from our Community Team.

• 470 people with one-to-one counselling sessions, therapy groups and peer support, through our Bereavement Service.

Every step you take helps us continue this vital work.
