On June 26, 2025, the SMO Foundation will host the Golden Gala at the iconic Natural History Museum, celebrating the launch of our mission to support mining communities worldwide. Our partners, Critical Care International (CCI), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and Leadership for Conservation in Africa (LCA), are tackling some of the most pressing issues faced by mining communities today. These organizations are working tirelessly to ensure that the positive impacts of responsible mining extend beyond the mines themselves, addressing crucial areas like healthcare access, biodiversity conservation, and community empowerment.
