Flash floods triggered by destructive monsoon rains across much of Pakistan have killed nearly 1000 people and displaced around 33 million people particularly affecting Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Sindh Provinces.
Over 72,000 houses have been partially or completely damaged, around 800 schools (600 in Balochistan alone), were damaged and 120 bridges and 2,516 km of road sections have been affected.
