The Story So Far;

Before the pandemic, the Inverness Business Fives—in partnership with Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS)—hosted the legendary Sneckie Insomnia five-a-side festival at the Bught Park Leisure Centre every January.

Fast forward to today: following the incredible success of our recent summer transitions, this year marks our 8th outing . Last year, you helped us raise an amazing £16,000, bringing our all-time total within touching distance of a historic landmark. This year, we aren't just playing for trophies—we’re playing to break the £160,000 total fundraising milestone across all eight events.

Why Your Support Matters

This festival is about more than just a kickabout. It’s about bringing the Highland community together to ensure CHAS can continue providing a lifeline to families across the North.

From respite care to end-of-life support for children with life-shortening conditions, CHAS provides specialist nursing through their dedicated CHAS at Home team right here in Inverness.

2026 Event Format

* Adult Tournament (Evening): The "Insomnia" spirit lives on! Adult teams will compete in mini-leagues of six, grouped by sector. Expect high-intensity matches under the lights!

We’re asking every team to aim for a minimum of £300 in sponsorship.
