Since 2017 the CamCRAG poncho project has been turning fleece blankets into warm ponchos for distribution amongst refugees in Calais. These have proved invaluable to refugees facing the cold harsh winters in Calais.

This year, when lack of materials meant that making ponchos was no longer feasable the team got in touch with the organisations in Calais to see if there was something else that they could make. The answer was snoods and so a new project for the poncho team was born.
