Give in celebration of Christmas
Over the past few months coronavirus has changed our world in ways that few of us could ever have imagined. Fundraising for our vital services, campaigning and research has been hit hard. But MS doesn't stop for anything, so neither can our fundraising. More than ever, we need your help to raise vital money to support everyone affected by MS. After what has been a truly extraordinary year why dont you do something extraordinary this Christmas by giving in celebration? End 2020 by feeling good about doing something wonderful for others.
How could you give this Christmas?
You can make an amazing personal donation to celebrate the season of goodwill, for example donating what you might have spent on a works night out, giving the cost of that secret Santa gift that has been put on hold until next year or just giving a few quid you might have normally given in charity bucket collection.
Want to do more?
Or you could add even more festive fun and get others involved in your Christmas fundraiser and go a bit bigger this year. There are loads of ways to raise money and give in celebration. Heres just a little bit of inspiration:
Take a 12 days of Christmas celebration, such as a photo challenge or what Im thankful for
Christmas Movie-thon
Santa Splash (Sea Swim)
Christmas Crafternoon
Host a virtual Scott Mills DIY Quiz
Host a virtual get-together, such as carol singing or a mulled wine and mince pie night
Take on an advent challenge what will do for 24 days?
Tree decorating competition
Get others in the Christmas giving mood?

Whatever you give or do to raise money this Christmas, remember your gift in celebration of Christmas 2020 will make a difference:
£10 could pay for two phone conversations with a trained member of our new Keep In Touch team to combat loneliness and isolation
£20 could pay for our MS Helpline team to answer a call or message from someone who needs our help
£65 could pay for someone with MS to have a session with our Benefits Adviser to help them get the support they need
£120 could help cover the cost of a MS Helpline call with our specialist MS Nurse
£250 could afford a whole day of health and wellbeing services, supporting pwMS to overcome the physical and emotional impact of Covid-19
Every penny you give us helps us be there for someone affected by MS.
Thank you & a Very Merry Christmas from everyone here at the MS Society Northern Ireland.
