Story
The 'Summer of Support' campaign is designed to bring the SOFT UK community together over the summer months through simple, family-friendly fundraising activities that raise awareness, encourage connection, and help secure vital unrestricted income for the charity.
Across the charity sector, grant funding has become increasingly difficult to secure. Many charities are competing for fewer available grants, while costs continue to rise.
For smaller specialist charities like SOFT UK, this creates significant pressure. Yet the need for support has not reduced.
Families continue to rely on emotional support after diagnosis, bereavement support, peer connections, family events, information, advocacy, and safe spaces where their children are recognised, celebrated, and remembered.
Community fundraising helps protect these services and gives SOFT UK more stability and flexibility in supporting families when they need it most.

Fundraising Medal
We are excited to introduce our first medal for our incredible fundraisers. To say thanks, we've designed this medal which you can claim when your fundraiser hits £100. Once you've achieved this goal, email shaun.dowdall@soft.org.uk and let us know your address and a little about your fundraiser. We will then get a medal out to you!
This also gives us the chance to learn more about the amazing fundraisers taking place and recognise your efforts.
