Story

Could you 'Sleep Out to Help Out' for one night this October to mark 'World Homeless Day' (10th October). We're inviting our friends and supporters, to consider sleeping out for the night to raise awareness about homelessness and to help raise funds for Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness (KCAH) during our 30th anniversary year.

KCAH has been working tirelessly for the past 30 years to help support local people facing the trauma of homelessness to find somewhere safe and stable to call home. Our aim is to help people rebuild their lives and leave homelessness behind for good.

WHAT IS A ‘SLEEP OUT’?

A ‘sleep out’ involves spending the night somewhere other than your own bed. For example....

In a tent in your church garden or hall, school hall or playground or your own back garden. Even camping out in your living room - that counts too!

Anyone of any age can join in; individuals, families or local school, church or community groups. We want this to be a fun and thought-provoking event, rather than a test of endurance!
