Badley Day, our annual community day on Wednesday 23 September, brings students and staff together in a whole school celebration of John Badley's vision and the school motto, 'Work of Each for Weal of All'. This simple phrase emphasises the idea that by working together - contributing individually, as well as collaboratively - everyone can support the wellbeing of the whole community.

During the afternoon, students will take part in a series of exciting challenge activities as part of a fundraising event. Friends and family are invited to sponsor their efforts, with all money raised supporting the John Badley Foundation's 100% bursary programme, strengthening our diverse and inclusive community.

Students taking on this challenge will throw themselves into Outdoor Work, harvesting apples, chopping and stacking logs for the winter, sorting wool, and pulling dragon weed from the pond. It promises to be a physically demanding afternoon, with every effort helping to raise funds that create life-changing opportunities for young people.
