Story

Support Southam College!

From Easter 2024, we will be moving into our fantastic, brand new school building, where there will be dedicated specialist teaching areas as well as new shared spaces such as a large dining room and main hall.

However, some of our equipment really needs updating and being able to purchase modern new items will further help our students learn to the high standards we aspire to at Southam College.

Budgets only go so far and whilst the build is funded by the Department of Education this does not cover any of the free standing equipment and resources that are needed to enhance students' day to day experiences and deliver the curriculum to its fullest potential. We are therefore launching a campaign to raise money to purchase items that will enhance the new build and are suitable for the state-of-the-art learning environment our students deserve.

Our staff work tirelessly to ensure that teaching is of the highest quality and employ a wide range of strategies to support our learners. We want our facilities to maximise the impact of this so that our students can leave us as kind, confident and resilient young people, who are well-rounded members of the community.

Whether you are a parent or carer, former student, former staff member, member of the local community or a local business, we would love you to be a part of our legacy by supporting our school and making a donation to help us buy much needed resources to fit out the new build. Every donation really will make such a difference for years to come.

Have your name inscribed on our “Wall of Thanks”

We know that Southam College is viewed with affection by many students, past and present, local families and the wider community, across several generations, and therefore we have decided to offer donors the opportunity to be part of the fabric of our new building. Contributors wishing to make a donation of £30* or more, can have their name displayed as a permanent marker on a “Wall of Thanks” in the new building, in recognition of their donation. This might be something that you’d like to consider for yourself, or as a gift or commemoration for a friend or loved one. Businesses wishing to be recognised on the "Wall of Thanks" can do so by making a donation of £100 or more.

Please donate today and help us make the environment at Southam College the best it can be, by giving our students the tools they need to succeed.

We really appreciate all the support we receive as a school and know that so many of you support the PTSA each year. The move to the new school is a once in a lifetime move for many of us and we want to give our students the best resources and environment we can for years to come.

Any surplus funds will be put towards other whole school projects, with all funds going to support the provision of Southam College students.

* All donors contributing £30 or more, in a single donation (£100 or more for businesses), are eligible to have the name from their donation added to our “Wall of Thanks”. Only one first name or initial plus last name will be featured on the donor wall for each £30 donation.

Please note that if you choose to donate anonymously or do not select to share your contact details with us, we may be unable to reach you regarding the “Wall of Thanks”.

Details of how to be included on the “Wall of Thanks” will be shown on the Donor Thank you message you receive following your donation.
