Winter can be a challenging time for the asylum-seekers and refugees we support. The refugees from Afghanistan are no longer headline news, but many are still living in temporary accommodation and in need of our help. We are also continuing to support asylum seekers who are expected by the government to live on just over £5 a day.

We are working hard to provide winter clothing, coats, suitable shoes, toiletries and other essentials. While our appeals for secondhand items always receive a fantastic response, we also need to raise funds to buy items like shoes in the correct sizes, underwear and additional toiletries.
