SARA Cotswolds Rescue Station are raising £18k to provide a flood rescue capability. Equipment, such as dry suits, wading poles, helmets and rescue sledges will enable the crew to provide local community support during flooding. In addition the team of volunteers, who already provide search and rescue services can support DEFRA during flood incidents around the UK.
