SPLASH OUT CAMPAIGN 💦 to help us to fund our core service of fully accessible hydro pool sessions for children and adults with disabilities and additional needs in Gloucestershire.

💕 Hydrotherapy offers many benefits for people with disability and additional needs, those recovering from injury or have mobility or movement issues. Frailty, the older generation, and those in pain. The pool offers a relaxing sensory experience for adults & children with special needs; autism, neurodiverse - it’s safe place for them and their families.

🏊‍♂️ The 15-metre hydrotherapy pool is heated at 34-36 degrees and has a maximum depth of 1.35 metres. It is aided by an overhead hoist from an extensive assisted changing room which has multiple changing beds with individual showers for those who are non-ambulant.

💓 EVERY £98 WILL SUPPORT THE CHAMWELL CENTRE CHARITY TO SUBSIDISE A 1-HOUR HYDRO-POOL SESSION FOR UP TO 19 CHILDREN/ADULTS, WHO WITHOUT CHAMWELL WOULD OTHERWISE NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE VAST BENEFITS OF A HYDRO POOL.

ℹ It costs £182 to run a hydro pool session for one hour. With a small contribution from each person using the pool, £98 per hour remains for the charity to cover. The Chamwell Centre Charity fundraises to subsidise sessions so to keep costs as low as possible for our community.

The Chamwell Centre Charity hosts 119 hours of fully accessible hydrotherapy for its community of children and adults with disabilities & additional in the county needs per month, pro rata. Additionally, to this we meet the therapeutic needs of 320 pupils with complex care needs from The Milestone Special Needs School during school hours.
