Hello - my name is Laura and I’m a nurse at Heart of Kent Hospice. Right now, there will be someone in your part of Maidstone, who is facing the challenges of terminal illness. They may be frightened about what the future holds, and those who care about them may be frightened too.
But with your help, a family like this can get the skilled, compassionate care they need - even though their lives are changing for ever. Your kindness can help to make every precious moment count, for a family near you this Christmas.
You don’t have to be a nurse like Laura to ease their pain and help them make the most of the time they have left. Your kindness and compassion can put you alongside our Hospice colleagues. You can be with us every time we reassure a patient or hug someone who loves them.
