Story

Because of physical distancing, we have 16,500 empty seats in Buxton and Harrogate (value approximately £480,000). Can you sponsor one and support the Festival Future Fund?

It's been a funny old year or two, but we are still here. We have a Festival ready to begin. And we have an excellent programme with hilarious, brand-new productions that we know will bring some much-needed joy to our fantastic supporters.

It's been a long and arduous road, but certainly worth the slog, and the alternative was never an option.

We launched our FESTIVAL FUTURE FUND in June to ensure that through the thick and thin of 2021, our fantastic Festival keeps going until life and normality resumes.

We still have physically distanced seating in Buxton Opera House and the Royal Hall, Harrogate. This is not an ideal situation at all and means a significant reduction in our income. So, our very first campaign for our FESTIVAL FUTURE FUND will be SPONSOR AN EMPTY SEAT! For just £20 each, you can sponsor one, two or as many of our physically distanced empty seats as you like and help bump those numbers up.

In Buxton Opera House and the Royal Hall Harrogate, we have a total of 16,500 empty seats for the duration of the Festival. Vacant and forlorn, they are sitting patiently and hoping against hope that someone, somewhere, will sponsor them!

We cannot thank you all enough for your fantastic support.
