The need is growing
Recent research (Conrad et al., 2023) has shown that Addison’s disease is more common in people living in the most deprived communities in the UK. Addison’s, alongside other autoimmune conditions, increases with socioeconomic deprivation.
This means that those who may need our support the most are often the ones who can least afford it. Sponsored Memberships ensure no one is excluded from our community because of financial hardship.
