Helen is fundraising in memory of her neice, Joanne McCawley.

Joanne actually featured in LLNI's Empty Chairs campaign in 2017, however she sadly lost her battle with acute myeloid leukaemia and passed away just over a year ago. Joanne was a wonderfully positive, brave lady who dedicated a huge amount of her time and energy to raising awareness of blood cancers.

Joanne's family and friends now honour her memory by driving fundraising campaigns, to provide research into these diseases to ensure that, in the future, people survive blood cancers.
