Above is a picture of the last Sponsored Swim in July 2019; as this is our 35th Anniversary year, we don't want to miss another one, so are asking people to take part anywhere in the world, at anytime in July or August, to raise urgently needed funds for our twin city of León. This has been a very difficult year, NECAT helps impoverished children and families in Sutiaba in León; Nuevas Esperanzas works with families around the Telica volcano near León on water and agroecology projects including rainwater harvesting, supplying clean arsenic free water, beekeeping and introducing new crops such as dragon fruit, after they lost their crops in the hurricanes. Any help will make a big difference in Nicaragua; we are aiming to reach £3,500 in our 35th year!.
