🐰 The Shrewsbury "Spring 50k" Challenge
This April, we are calling on rabbit lovers across the UK to get moving, get muddy, and get fundraising to save lives.
The Problem
It has been a long, hard winter for rescues. While the seasons change, the demand for our help never stops.
Shrewsbury Rabbit Rescue provides ethical, high-welfare rehabilitation for rabbits in desperate need. From unwanted pets to abandoned bunnies found in dire conditions, every rabbit that comes into our care needs urgent vet checks, vaccinations, neutering, and specialized dental work before they can find their forever homes.
The reality? Our vet bills are rising, and the cost of supplies has never been higher. To keep our rescue running and our accommodation warm this Spring, we need to raise £5,000.
The Challenge
It doesn't matter where you live—you can be part of the solution. We are asking you to join our "Virtual Troop" and cover 50km throughout the month of April.
That breaks down to just 1.6km (1 mile) a day.
🚶♀️ Take a lunchtime stroll around your local park.
🐕 Walk the dog an extra loop around your neighborhood.
⛰️ Hike your favorite local trail on a Sunday.
🏠 Do laps of your garden!
You can walk, run, hop, or cycle. Whether you are in Shropshire, Scotland, or Southampton, we are all moving toward the same goal.
