As the days lengthen, why not get outside to raise money for Southampton Action?

it is just over six months since we started supporting Afghan evacuees, many of whim are still in temporary accommodation, and we also continue to support asylum seekers of all nationalities, many of whom have also faced conflicts in places such as Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria, Sudan and Tigray.

As another war, this time in Europe, forces yet more civilians to flee their homes, we call on the UK government to provide safe and secure routes to the UK for Ukrainians seeking sanctuary and will work to support refugees from Ukraine who arrive in Southampton and the surrounding area.

During this difficult time we need your support more than ever. The expansion of our activities last summer has led to the need for a new permanent home where we can store and sort donations. We also continue to buy items which we cannot provide from second hand donations (like shoes in the correct sizes, underwear and toiletries).

Do you need some motivation to complete a fitness challenge? Why not create a sponsored run, walk, swim, hop or anything else that gets you moving? Alternatively, you could do a sponsored knit, read... or anything else you can think of!
