Story
This year marks a significant milestone in Scottish Refugee Council's history - our 40th anniversary!
Undertaking a 22.7 mile walk is a huge challenge for our team, however we understand that the challenge for refugees to survive and rebuild their lives is even greater, having fled violence, persecution and humanitarian crises.
The last four decades have seen major changes as Scotland has welcomed refugees from various backgrounds. We celebrate the vibrancy that refugees contribute to Scottish society, and have been proud to play our part in helping New Scots settle across Scotland.
Looking ahead we aim to increase the support that we provide to help build a Scotland that continues to welcomes refugees and gives people the chance to thrive no matter where they have came from and how they have arrived.
Without the generosity of our supporters across Scotland and beyond, our work would simply not be possible.
So please, support our team effort and help shape a welcoming Scotland with refugees.
Thank you
