In the below hadith the Prophet (s) mentioned 7 deeds that will continue benefitting you after your DEATH (Sadaqah Jariyah). This project involves 3 of them!! 1) Building a Mosque, 2) Spreading Knowledge (through classes held in the Mosque) and 3) Providing Water.

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Seven deeds of a servant continue to be rewarded after his death while he is in his grave: knowledge to be learned, constructing a canal, digging a well, planting a date-palm tree, building a mosque, handing down a written copy of the Quran, and leaving a righteous child who seeks forgiveness for him after his death. The Large Masjid and Borehole Well will be built in a rural location in Nigeria where the people do not have access to clean and safe water or a place to pray and learn abou Islam, in sha Allah.

In sha Allah, the aim of this project is to transform the lives of the people in this village by providing them and neighbouring villages a source of life (water) and a means to Build Jannah (Masjid)!
